I'm Leandre but I'm known by a few other names. Two little girls call me 'mamma', my hard-working farmer husband call me 'liefie' (love) and my clients call me Lea.
I'm born and bred in South Africa but call the country of Aotearoa my new home.

Until the age of 5 I lived in a small rural village where I ran barefeet to the cow shed with mom to go and get milk or do tours through the pigsty. Where my imaginary fairy friends lived in the garden and where I played hopscotch in front of the house until way past sunset. After the age of 5 we moved to a small town. The place that is home to me. Zebra's rome through the streets, giraffes can be seen from your house and little deers on your morning walks. Ah, it's magic with the most beautiful sunsets.
I studied Beauty Therapy for two years where I did make up for other photographers. There my passion for photography awakened.
After my first daughter was born I got my first camera and the rest is history.
I love travels and adventure with my little family, spending quality time with them and discovering new places. The smell of rain on a dirt road and fresh coffee in the morning.
When the kids allow it you will find me with a book huddled up on the sofa. I have a wild imagination and I believe it adds to my storytelling of images. To capture the light and connection between people.
Authentic moments are my absolute favorite! I love to tell the story of a loving tribe. For viewers to experience the love and warmth while viewing your photos. Tiny little hands on your cheek, butterfly kisses on your forehead and smiles to lighten up the whole world.
